I have always been a fan of Sigma lenses, and the Japanese manufacturer's latest initiatives have just made me a bigger fan. Sigma does everything right these days.

The Sigma ultra wideangle zoom is a fantastic lens, but not easy to use and not perfect for all situations where a wideangle is useful

Yes I stopped looking frantically at the LCD on the back of my digital cameras after each and every shot. And I think it has made me take better pictures.

I standardized my tripod quick releases and camera plates on the Arca-Swiss system a long time ago and haven't regretted it for a minute.

I have Nikon DX bodies exclusively and shoot a lot of macro, so I bought both the 85mm f/3.5 and the 40mm f/2.8 DX Micro-Nikkors to supplement a couple of older macros I have.

Many Nikon macro bellows are known not to fit on modern SLR's, but I managed to make a very easy conversion to fit my Model III on all my Nikon bodies

There's no doubt that the Fuji X100 is a fantastic camera, and I use mine all the time and love it. But man, there's a bunch of Fuji engineers who deserve a severe spanking!
