Family trip to Florida

Shots from our family trip to Florida 2009. Great trip, excellent photo opportunities

Sigma 8-16mm

The Sigma ultra wideangle zoom is a fantastic lens, but not easy to use and not perfect for all situations where a wideangle is useful

I shoot food

I shoot food like many other photographers do. Occasionally the images come out OK, but mostly the result is actually not that apetizing

I stopped chimping

Yes I stopped looking frantically at the LCD on the back of my digital cameras after each and every shot. And I think it has made me take better pictures.

Family trip to London

Images shot on a family trip to London in 2004. All with Minolta 7D and various lenses

New site

500th.net got an update... and a blog. This is the first blog entry about exactly that.

Arca-Swiss quick releases

I standardized my tripod quick releases and camera plates on the Arca-Swiss system a long time ago and haven't regretted it for a minute.

Macros for Nikon DX

I have Nikon DX bodies exclusively and shoot a lot of macro, so I bought both the 85mm f/3.5 and the 40mm f/2.8 DX Micro-Nikkors to supplement a couple of older macros I have.

Danish summer

Danish summer - Fuji X100, Canon Powershot D10 and even my HTC phone

Nikon Bellows PB-3 on a DSLR

Many Nikon macro bellows are known not to fit on modern SLR's, but I managed to make a very easy conversion to fit my Model III on all my Nikon bodies

New York

Images shot during a recent trip to New York. Fuji X100 and Nikon D300s/D5100 and various lenses.

Disabled-friendly building

Visiting the most disabled-friendly house in the world in Taastrup, Denmark, where a number of organizations for disabled people have their offices. All shot with he Nikon D300s and the 17-55mm f/2.8

Here comes the photographer!

It's amazing what large cameras can do for you when you are out shooting. They can literally open doors and break down fences.

I love (and I loathe) the Fuji X100

There's no doubt that the Fuji X100 is a fantastic camera, and I use mine all the time and love it. But man, there's a bunch of Fuji engineers who deserve a severe spanking!
