A flimsy lightweight lens of mediocre mechanical and optical quality, but still ... 19mm on a fullframe camera is a feat after all. Not one that I have used much.
A highly praised lens, which I wanted from the day the price was announced. At 800.- USD it's very reasonably priced considering how bright it is, how well constructed it is and how sharp it is.
The first wideangle I owned, and a real gem: wide, sharp, good colors and built to last. The mechanics were world class and the optical quality followed close troop.
A plastic lens in the deepest meaning of the word. Plastic case, plastic "glass", plastic mount, plastic everything. An a really shitty image quality, but that's the whole idea.
It can't get much worse than this! And that's the whole idea. A plastic lens, which doesn't even have a lens, but features a pinhole disc for extra mediocre image quality. For 20 USD...
