After an upgrade, the site is now ready to run for another 20 years!

My desk during the upgrade.
I do realize that this site isn't the most visited or popular photo website in the world, but it has always been fun to make, and has existed in 20 years, so I thought it deserved an upgrade.
I had had some technical issues with the old system, having trouble uploading images to articles and other posts, and since this is essentially a picture web site, that made very little sense. I had to fix it.
I make my living from making websites, so I was sure that I could find the error, but no ... it simply didn't work. Neither online or on the copy I have running on my local development server.
So an upgrade was a possible way out. The system behind the site is the Open Source CMS (Content Management System) Drupal, and the version 7 that ran the site will soon be out of date, and upgrading to the current version - 11 - was on the horizon anyway.
So I spent a couple of days converting old content, transferring images and fixing all the little errors that follow such an upgrade, and now the site is about ready to run for another 20 years!
