Some of the articles and blog posts on this site are more than 15 years old. A lot has happened since they were published.
On this site I write about a technology that has more than two centuries of history, but is still developing - and sometimes very rapidly.
That means that I may have written something, which at the time of writing was quite right and true, but now is wrong ... and maybe even terribly so. I will also mention gear as the best and newest, which is now nowhere near being best, and certainly isn't new anymnore.
But you will still find these old articles and posts here, because I think it's worth conserving these things for the sake of history.
That means that you might bump into things where you think "What is this guy up to? He is totally out of touch with the development!"
No, I'm not. I have just chosen to keep my legacy writing online and there for people to read. A lot of the old articles are just as good as if they were written today. Inspiration, composition, subject selection and much else has nothing to do with technology, and will work as well today as it did when it was written - and will work equally well in the future.
I have added a small "warning" under the publishing date, so that you can immediately see when you are looking at something with some years on its back.
