Lenses with one and only one focal length.

Nikon 50mm f/2.8 pancake

Another of Nikon's pancake lenses - a bright normal lens. Built to last, all manual, no electronics, but a lovely little lens.

Minolta 24mm f/2.8

The first wideangle I owned, and a real gem: wide, sharp, good colors and built to last. The mechanics were world class and the optical quality followed close troop.

Minolta 35mm f/2.8 MD

I had this manual lens as one of the first ones for my Minolta bodies and remember its very good mechanical construction and oh so smooth focusing.

Sigma 15mm f/2.8 fisheye

My first ever fisheye lens, and a great performer. Both the mechanics and the optical quality is good, and the lens produces a stunning 180 degree vista on a full frame body

Sigma 20mm f/1.8

A really great, bright medium wideangle lens on a DX body, very wide on FF.

Nikon 85mm f/1.8D

A classic portrait lens and excellent value for the money, but a little longer than a conventional portrait lens when mounted on a DX body

Sigma 30mm f/1.4

A great normal lens for DX bodies. Bright, sharp and well built.

Nikon 35mm f/1.8

One of the least expensive lenses in Nikon's selection, and one of the best - at least for the money. Any DX shooter should own one.
