Sigma

The third party lens manufacturer.

Sigma 105mm macro

A short telephoto macro from Sigma of older make. Not impressing and a little clunky, but built like a tank and bright too.

Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8

A highly praised lens, which I wanted from the day the price was announced. At 800.- USD it's very reasonably priced considering how bright it is, how well constructed it is and how sharp it is.

I do love Sigma!

I have always been a fan of Sigma lenses, and the Japanese manufacturer's latest initiatives have just made me a bigger fan. Sigma does everything right these days.

Sigma 8-16mm

The Sigma ultra wideangle zoom is a fantastic lens, but not easy to use and not perfect for all situations where a wideangle is useful

Sigma 8-16mm f/4.5-5.6

A really wide zoom (like REALLY!) even on a DX-body, which it's made for. Rectilinear in spite of its very wide angle of view and definitely a lens I'm going to love.

Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8

My first pro grade walkaround zoom is from Sigma and a great lens on the Minolta AF bodies.

Sigma 20mm f/1.8

A really great, bright medium wideangle lens on a DX body, very wide on FF.

Sigma 90mm f/2.8 macro

My first macro lens for the Nikon bodies, but I knew it from my Minolta time where I had the exact same model.

Sigma 30mm f/1.4

A great normal lens for DX bodies. Bright, sharp and well built.
