Thoughts about tripods

I consider a good tripod an essential piece of photographic gear, and the way I take pictures I wouldn't be able to work for long without one.

An old abandoned house in

An old abandoned house in Copenhagen shot with slow shutter speeds and two flashes remotely fired.

Fun with night shots and HDR

Fun with night shots and HDR - High Dynamic Range. All are stacked from 5 bracketed shots from a D200, 18-200mm on a tripod.

Copenhagen waterfront

Night shots from the Copenhagen waterfront. I have had fun shooting after dark this October and November. The days are short and the nights are long, so you might as well make the best of the dark hours. All shot with D200/18-200mm VR.

Great patterns

Great patterns drawn on the sidewalk and cobblestones by lampposts in central Copenhagen. Almost like underwater shots. All shot with the D200 and the 18-200 VR on a tripod.

A small trip to the center

A small trip to the center of Copenhagen. Photographer Steve Bloom has a large exhibition of his pictures on a central square.
