Sigma 50mm f/1.4
A great and bright normal lens from Sigma that acts more like a short telephoto lens on my DX bodies. Great for portraits on DX, very shallow DOF and really nice bokeh - and of course very bright. I love to shoot with this lens wide open.

Sigma 50mm f/1.4
I have a weakness for bright lenses and always had great experiences with Sigma. So when I wanted a bright 50mm, I found it natural to look closer at Sigma's offering.

Lensgasm!
Lensgasm! I took delivery of two lenses today: a Sigma 30mm f/1.4 and an Arax Photex 80mm f/2.8 tilt/shift. New toys.

Nikon 35mm f/1.8
This lens is a no-brainer for any Nikon owner! It might not be the best lens Nikon ever made, but the quality to price ratio is unsurpassed.

Looking down on a dull day
Looking down on a dull day. Shot with the D40 and the 35mm f/1.8 - a great combo. All images treated with the so called Orton effect.

Life starts at f/1.8
I have always loved bright lenses. If money was no issue, all my lenses would have f/1.4 and f/1.8 stamped on them. A few slow ones would be f/2.8, but only the slow ones...
