A classic portrait lens and excellent value for the money, but a little longer than a conventional portrait lens when mounted on a DX body
I simply had to own one of these classic portrait lenses, and the f/1.8 version is very approachable bought used. I got an excellent specimen of this older version from a local shop at a good price.
